This was the first full day in Vinzons. We woke up early to celebrate Mass and remember Lolo Ven.
The post-Mass celebration with some townspeople: We had sotanghon, empanada, potato salad and a delicious dessert made of cassava. ("Real cassava" as Mom put it.) Everything was delicious actually. It was nice to see so many people attend the reception.
This is Mom's old house, the one in which she was born and grew up. :)
Continuing our tour of Vinzons, we passed by the market.
St. Peter's. It's really close to the house!
