Not enough time in the day

Perhaps it will be a lifelong recurring theme, but there never seems to be enough time to do all the things I want to do. Work and commuting take up most of my weekdays. I don't mind so much. In fact, I love my job, so I'm glad it takes up as much time as it does.

But then again, I haven't written a song since I moved. I want to do that.

Mom has pointed out that I don't blog as much.

Oh! But I took out a trial subscription to Blockbuster (similar to Netflix), so I will MAKE time to watch the DVDs that arrived: She's the Man, Walk the Line and season one of "The Office." Yay!

Summer Friday!

Can I just say that I love summer Fridays?! This is my second and last one for 2006. It's so nice getting the day off and getting paid for it.

Well, I happen to enjoy doing "nothing." That is, I like to kick back, go online, relax and watch movies. Also did my laundry this afternoon.

A nice day. Could always use more like them.

Another day

No, it's not just any other day! I'm seeing an apartment tonight, and I hope to catch a Broadway matinee beforehand. Must run no longer than 2 hours and 15 minutes. That narrows it down to three musicals, I think. (RENT's not one of them.) I'll let you know if I see one.

Anna Nalick's performing in Seattle tonight. Boo that I'm not there, but oh well. I'm still waiting for a headlining concert in NYC.

Anyway, I just wanted to write something here because I noticed I needed to change my location on the sidebar.

No day but today!

The wonders of digital zoom

I love me my Canon Powershot SD450! It arrived yesterday, and I was able to use it today at Bryant Park!

Eeep, I am giddy!

Somebody pinch me. I only mean that figuratively speaking.

I'm really here in New York! Have been keeping in touch with my former supervisors at the Seattle arts orgs I used to intern/work for. I get nostalgic sometimes. I miss them, and they miss me. It's all good, but wow.

It makes me giddy that I'm actually here in New York.

I told Brittany in an e-mail that I have to remind myself I'm not on vacation. I'm here for the long haul.

And I get tomorrow off! And tomorrow's pay day! Woo to the hoo!
